PEG Distearates are inexpensive, but require significantly more usage to match viscosity.
They are less effective in challenging surfactants, and high use levels affect texture and user experience. And in cases like Sarconsinate surfactants, PEG 150 Distearates will not work at all without significant use of co-thickeners.
