Applechem is now ISO 9001:2015 certified!

Applechem is proud to announce that it has successfully completed its certification audit conducted by SGS, and that its quality management system is now officially compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. 

Adopting the new ISO 9001 international standard was considered a top priority by our management team, as it demonstrates to our customers that Applechem is committed to supplying consistent, high quality products and services. The new standard places greater emphasis on risk analysis, forward thinking and customer focus, while still demanding the same core dedication to quality process controls and continuous improvement.  Attaining this certification is a significant milestone for our company, and because we already had a strong quality system in place, we were able to make the transition in less than 3 months.

“I’m very proud of the job our team did in transitioning our QMS to meet the requirements of the modern 2015 standard,” said Wilson Lin, who oversees the quality management responsibilities at Applechem. “The flexibility built into the 2015 version makes it more agile and scalable to way businesses will be run for the next decade, and this certification validates our ability and commitment to providing the highest quality products and services to our customers. We want them to know that we’re listening to their needs, and that we have the systems in place to take their feedback and turn it into better, more effective specialty ingredients.”
